Cottage Hill had a thrilling finish as the Warriors walked off McGill-Toolen Yellow Jackets with a 3-2 victory.
The Warriors leaned on an incredible start from Max Hipp, who set the tone early with six shutout innings, striking out nine and allowing no earned runs. His performance kept Cottage Hill in control and gave the offense time to work.
At the plate, Carter Stinson led the way with a 2-for-3 performance and an RBI, helping keep the game within reach.
The Warriors turned to Ben Seale out of the bullpen. He delivered in a big way, tossing a scoreless inning without allowing a hit.
Finn Kirkwood, who showed patience and poise at the plate, drew a walk with the bases loaded to bring home the game-winning run and steal the 3-2 victory.
